Mckirk Bones!AU
Dr. Leonard Horatio Mccoy is a forensic anthropologist working at the renowned Jeffersonian Institute located in Washington, D.C. He aids FBI Special Agent James Tiberius Kirk in his investigations involving human remains that cannot be identified without Leonard’s skills in forensic anthropology. Jim is a former U.S. Army Ranger and Special Forces sniper, who has the ability to read people’s behavior and cues.
In time, they develop a working relationship and Jim gives Leonard his nickname, “Bones”, due to the fact Leonard works with bones; a nickname which he starts out hating, but begrudgingly comes to accept. Due to Jim’s constant insistence and attempts, they somehow become unlikely friends and more.
